TRONIC main room line up

Shamanic Technology
ESQ vs Megamegaman
Kenny Humphries

Shamanic Technology burns a new path for all of us who are into our IDM, Dubstep and Techno. Melding all these influences together into hard energetically dirty bass ridden tracks with sublime dark melodies complimenting the full force of the wobble. Hailing from Bournemouth, he does not often get to play North of the border, so this will be a special live treat for us all. With releases out on Glasgows very own Herb Records he should be no stranger to the Scottish underground community and a welcome live addition to both the TRONIC rosta and his Scottish fan base. Shamanic Technology will be the TRONIC  headline act for the main room for this Point 4 event.

Shamanic techno perhaps, but influences go deeper, a true melting pot of electronica style and substance.

ESQ vs Megamegaman is Greg Peebles and Chris Stevens, AKA ESQ and Megamegaman. Together they have formed up as an awesome super hero electronic duo, ready to do battle with the forces of techno and electro. With little known about their style as a duo, we can only speculate at  the oncoming good-ness. However if we take a look at ESQ and also Megamegaman, then I do believe we will all be putting our hands in the air. These two Glasgow producers never let us down with their solo projects. Its going to be double lashings of electro joy with the two of them. These lads will be supporting Shamanic Technology @ Point 4 on November 11th.

Will it be dubstep, will it be electro, I think some techno too.

Kenny Humphries is Glasgow's finest rising star on the DJ circuit. With an upcoming support slot with Erol Alkan we are very pleased to have this top DJ along to warm up the main room for our live guys, with his unique style of techno, deep house and old school greatness. This DJ is not simply a warm up act, he will set the standard for the night. We do not usually pick DJ's to play at TRONIC, so to get this honour you need to be very good at your craft. Kenny is just that. Opening the main room @ Point 4 November 11th.

He is not just ANY....DJ. He is a techno covered, house filled, electro.....TRONIC DJ.

Our Selection from the TRONIC Stage line up for Oxjam Glasgow Takeover

Plum

Signed to the late and great Benbecula Records with her debut album "Different Skin", Plum is an Edinburgh based singer songwriter that is going from strength to strength. She is currently running her own fundraiser aimed at gaining enough finance to go ahead with her second album release in the near future. We have loved her music since she supported artists such as Mrs jynx and Frog Pocket for TRONIC events back in 2009 / 2010. Her music is sublime, melodic and totally and utterly unique, innovative and simply magic. Plum opens the TRONIC stage at Flat 0/1 for Oxjam Glasgow Takeover

Integra TV

TRONIC Residents and two of Glasgow best glitchy up beat electronica producers. With 1 guitar, 1 keyboard and a mighty powerful laptop they make amazingly catchy, yet unique electronica. With a successful debut album under their belt called "A Morning Announcment", released under Alex Tronic Records and sets at Connect Festival. This duo have and comntinue to storm ahead with their own brand of beatiful electronica suffused with experimental glitchy lovelieness. Now with releases on the extremely successful Heartbeats Collective, this duo are not to be missed on the day for Oxjam Glasgow Takeover, Flat 0/1.

Binary Zero

This Glasgow producer has been on the scene for several years now. His debut album "From Here You Can See Everything" from 2008 came out on Alex Tronic Records to great acclaim and now releases under Heartbeats Collective plus other collectives. Combining beatiful melodies with dirty dubstep styled bass and full on techno beats. Binary Zero is an energetical force that will not let up. Not content with just the music, Binary Zero also weaves alternative politics and exposes you to the idea that this world may just be illusiory. Let yourself go as Binary Zero headlines  on the TRONIC stage and allow yourself to be overtaken by some huge bass. Flat 0/1, Oxjam Glasgow Takeover.

If you support Scottish independent music then support Plum and donate here. Any amount is brilliant. Help Plum, support Scottish independent music
