Point 4 is the creation of  Simon Stokes (Darkroom Dubs / Rekluse / Minibus) and Charles Turtle (Animal Farm / Off The Record).  It aims to bring together 4 of Glasgows hottest underground nights of the moment. 4 rooms, 4 promoters, 4 points.

TRONIC will have the run of the Mirror room down at the Soundhaus. With our now much loved recipe of top Scottish live electronica producers providing the musical focus for our Point 4 excursion. Not forgetting our legendary visuals now provided by our newest member to the TRONIC family, Euan Mackenzie.

For all those that attend their will be a limited number of free passes available for our TRONIC May 13th event. Approach us on the night to get yours.

Point 4 have also organised an After Party so don't be going anywhere once the music stops. Tickets available on the night for all those intent on partying until dawn breaks.

TRONIC Artists on the night will be -

Taking the headline slot, the mighty Modifier returns to TRONIC. Sean Kerwin and Chris Shelswell are the musically gifted duo behind the name. Chris lives in Aukland, New Zealand and Sean resides here in sunny Glasgow. Their sound stems from a deep love of electronica in all its forms and can be described in many different ways, as it seems their is no style this duo cannot turn a hand too. One thing is for certain, their music is definitely at home on a big club system with a crowd lapping up every electro coated beat this pair can muster. With praise from the likes of Nick Warren, touting their latest track, "Myotis" as "Ace" and Wez Saunders saying "All over this". It would not be out of place to put these guys side by side some the best producers in the business today. Sean will be representing Modifier on the night, punching out the Modifier sound for the eager Soundhaus crowd.  These guys are set to have a massive year in 2011 with their set at Point 4 TRONIC being just the beginning.

i am blip

Fresh from his TRONIC appearance down at Basura Blanca we simply could not resist getting this techno wizard back for another run. With a bigger sound system at his disposal, he is sure to smash up the room with his own take on techno. Jagged, harsh and generally disturbing. This one man techno freight train will leave you begging for more. i am blip is an artist that holds nothing back. live on stage is the best environment for this producers untamed sonic onslaught. He will be ripping it up 2nd on the bill for us. You can also grab many of his tracks for free off his soundcloud page.

Altered Mode

Good friends to Modifer and to us here at TRONIC. Kirsty has been on the DJ circuit since she was 21 spinning out her take on all things electro. With residencies at the likes of Death Disco (Arches) under her belt supporting big names such as Erol Alkan, Simian Mobile Disco and many more besides, this master of her craft can take you on an audible journey like no other. TRONIC has given her free reign, and not constrained by the usual limits placed on a DJ, we expect some dark and uplifting techno with everything in between, all crammed into the meaty 2 hours we have given this turntable maestro. She may even drop some of her own productions on the night if we ask nicely. You can listen to her own productions over at - - With many strings to her bow we expect to see alot more from this electro queen in the near future.
